1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using SocialBee ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Service.

These Terms apply to all users, including visitors, customers, and contributors of content. By using SocialBee, you represent that you are at least 18 years old and have the legal authority to enter into these Terms.

2. Description of Service

SocialBee is an AI-powered customer support platform that enables businesses to:

  • Connect messaging channels including WhatsApp, Instagram, and Messenger
  • Upload and manage product documentation for AI training
  • Automate customer support responses using AI-powered chat
  • Monitor and analyze customer conversations
  • Manage team access and permissions

Connection to Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp) is facilitated through Meta's official APIs and is subject to Meta's Platform Terms. By connecting these channels through SocialBee, you agree to comply with all applicable Meta policies, including their Messenger Platform Policy, Instagram Platform Policy, and WhatsApp Business Policy.

We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the Service at any time without prior notice.

3. Account Registration and Security

To use certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. When registering, you agree to:

  • Provide accurate, current, and complete information
  • Maintain and update your information as needed
  • Keep your password secure and confidential
  • Accept responsibility for all activities under your account
  • Notify us immediately of any unauthorized access

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or engage in fraudulent activity.

4. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to use the Service to:

  • Violate any applicable laws or regulations
  • Infringe upon intellectual property rights of others
  • Transmit spam, malware, or harmful content
  • Harass, abuse, or harm other users
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to systems or data
  • Interfere with or disrupt the Service infrastructure
  • Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
  • Resell or redistribute the Service without authorization

5. Intellectual Property Rights

The Service and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by SocialBee and are protected by international copyright, trademark, patent, trade secret, and other intellectual property laws.

You retain ownership of content you upload to the Service. By uploading content, you grant us a license to use, store, and process that content solely for the purpose of providing the Service to you.

AI-generated responses are provided for your use within the Service. You are responsible for reviewing and approving AI-generated content before it is sent to your customers.

6. Privacy and Data Protection

Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy, which describes how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you consent to our data practices as described in the Privacy Policy.

You are responsible for ensuring that your use of the Service complies with applicable data protection laws, including obtaining necessary consents from your customers for data collection and processing.

Meta Platform Data

When you connect Meta platforms (Facebook, Instagram, or WhatsApp) to SocialBee, data processing is also governed by Meta's Privacy Policy and Platform Terms. Please refer to the "Meta Platform Integration" section of our Privacy Policy for comprehensive details on how we handle data received from Meta platforms, including:

  • What data we receive from Meta and how we use it
  • Our Limited Use disclosure and data protection commitments
  • Your rights and controls over Meta platform data
  • How to disconnect channels or request data deletion

You acknowledge that by connecting Meta channels, you authorize SocialBee to access and process data from your connected accounts as described in our Privacy Policy. You represent that you have the authority to grant this access and that doing so does not violate any agreements you have with third parties.

7. Service Availability and Support

We strive to maintain high availability of the Service but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. The Service may be temporarily unavailable due to:

  • Scheduled maintenance and updates
  • Emergency repairs or security patches
  • Factors beyond our control (network issues, third-party services)

Support is available through our designated channels during business hours. Response times may vary based on your subscription plan.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, SocialBee shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

Our total liability for any claims arising from your use of the Service shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or usefulness of AI-generated responses. You acknowledge that AI systems may produce errors and agree to review all automated content before distribution.

Third-Party Platform Limitations

SocialBee integrates with third-party platforms including Meta (Facebook, Instagram, and WhatsApp). We are not responsible for:

  • Service interruptions, outages, or degraded performance of Meta platforms
  • Changes to Meta's APIs, policies, or terms that affect functionality
  • Account restrictions, suspensions, or limitations imposed by Meta
  • Data loss or unavailability caused by Meta platform issues
  • Message delivery failures or delays on Meta channels
  • Changes to messaging windows, rate limits, or feature availability

Meta platform availability, features, and functionality are subject to Meta's sole discretion and their applicable terms of service. We will make reasonable efforts to adapt to platform changes, but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access to third-party platform features.

You agree to maintain compliance with Meta's policies when using connected channels. Violation of Meta's policies may result in restrictions on your Meta accounts, for which SocialBee bears no responsibility.

9. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will provide notice of significant changes by:

  • Posting the updated Terms on this page
  • Updating the "Last updated" date
  • Sending email notification for material changes

Your continued use of the Service after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
